The Winners have been announced HERE!
Tuesday Night - Edited to add: I have been sick.....Yeah, we will talk about that later. Comments are still open. I will announce the winners on Wednesday.
If you are reading this I am in the Great Smoky Mountains with my wonderful husband having the time of my life! I didn't want to leave you all behind with nothing fun to do around here, so I decided on a fun little giveaway. For every 10 comments I will give away 1 pattern from my shop. So if there are 50 comments I will giveaway 5 patterns, this way everyone has a good chance of winning if they enter. The more comments the more fun we will have! To enter all you have to do is make me smile or laugh. Yes! That's all! I had this idea of going on my trip and getting all of these funny happy emails from all of my favorite people when I check my iPhone. Then all of you could get a good laugh reading through the comments! It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just a funny little something that your kid said, a corny Laffy Taffy joke (I love those), your favorite saying or joke, or something funny that happened to you.... doesn't matter!
Here is one of my favorite You Tube videos to get ya laughing! I will announce the winners here on Tuesday.... See you all soon!
{PS. Remember to leave an email address and the name of the pattern you want. And if you have some extra time to browse you can check out all of my Blog Followers at the end of my side bar! It's such a fun new feature!}

I'm should be ashamed but it is soooo funny!
I already have the Molly pattern and would love Miss Madeline in the larger sizes.
Have fun on your trip. There is some GREAT quilting stores in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forege. My favorite is Machine Quilting by IVA in Sevierville. It is fabric heaven.
Tricia
Frostbite.
I'm in Wisconsin. It's cold here. Do you miss WI??
I don't know what pattern I want, other than the new on you're working on drafting so that some of it can be pattern testers. THAT's the one I want. :) (Am I starting to sound like a nag yet??? LOL)
I hope you have a great time!
Here is a joke I just read.
Why don't many blind people sky dive?
It scares the dog too much
I'd love to win the larger Miss Madeline pattern. :)
You can reach me on my blog http://www.oneboyonegirlboutique.blogspot.com
As for something funny, let me try to think while I sit here at noon still in my pj's LOL.
Ok, online today I read something that I thought was funny and true
"If my house is clean my computer must be broken"
The other funny thing I can come up with is...I live in Florida and this morning our water pipes were frozen. My hubby went out in his robe and used my hair dryer to defrost the pipes. That was something to see!
Have fun on your trip :)

Oh, and I would love the Miss Molly dress - it is adorable, as are all of your patterns!
Thanks,

Lately one of the twins has started asking "why" to everything...Everything! My other children had never done this so it has been trying.
It's time to go to bed: "why"
Please pick that up: "why"
you need to drink your milk: "why"
Finally I had enough and told her no more saying why, it's too much and mommy doesn't like to hear why so many times in a day. Her reply "what, what mommy...I say what"
"No, you just need to stop asking why about everything"
"what"
"No, just why"
"what, mommy, I ask what"
so now when I say it's time to pick up: "what"
time to lay down for a nap: "what"
please drink your milk: "what"
Kids can be such stinkers! I feel like I walk through my days as part of an Abott and Costello (sp?) routine.
So far as a pattern, I would love to have either size of Miss Madeline. It's a great looking dress that covers appropriately...harder and harder to find anymore.

Here's my daughter's favorite knock-knock joke to keep you smiling:
Knock, knock!
Who's there?
Interrupting cow.

MOOOOOOOOO!
Now, if you are five years old, as she is, repeat every hour or two ad infinitum...
As for the funny, Um, My 3 year old got a Cinderella Barbie for Christmas. I have resisted Barbie, but finally caved. She immediately undressed her and said "Mom! She has milkers (what my breastfed kids call breasts)." I confirmed that yes indeed, Cinderella does have breasts, and she said "Well, where is the baby to drink the milkers?? Do you think she is sold separately?" Yes, we have now drastically reduced or TV viewing! LOL
I just came across your blog this past week and immediately fell in love with the Miss Madeline dress. So much in love, that I emailed several people yesterday with a link to it! Just had to share the love! Anyway, I would love to get the larger size Miss Madeline pattern. Thanks!

Our recent funny (that we're still laughing about): my little boy (4 tomorrow) has been on a streak. His little sister got sores on her feet from a pair of shoes and while Daddy and I were taking care of the sores I asked him to give me a q-tip. Jonathan was more than happy to do so all the while professing very loudly and heroic like, "Jonathan Doctorman! Jonathan Doctorman!" Yep, no need for superman, spiderman, batman or any other "...man" in this house. We have "doctorman".
I can't wait to browse through your blog.
Thanks for offering this give-away.

A senior citizen couple is sitting in their livingroom talking about their life as newlyweds. The wife gets all worked up thinking about it and says "Honey, let's run upstairs and make love right now!" The husband replies, "I can one do one or the other!"
Why do seagulls go to the sea?
Because if they went to the bay, they'd be bay-gulls (bagels)!!
I love your dress patterns! I have the two listed already, and I have been waiting patiently for Miss Lily to come ot since I saw a photo you poated a while back!
Someone sent me this video, the other day of this poor man doing a rendition of Beyonce's Single Ladies video. It is funny, and disturbing all at the same time! (Bless his heart!)

I hope I win! thanks so much! stacygibbs122@gmail.com
The other day my 5-yr-old son was quietly coloring at the table when he suddenly said, "We need to turn on some music!" So my 3-year-old daughter immediately said, "OK!" And she then began to sing loud and clear her own little tune with the words, "Na na na na!" as she skipped around. It was so funny. I think we were all thinking my son meant for us to hook up the iPod or something, but our daughter's version of turning on some music was much better!
If I were to be a lucky winner, I would love the Miss Madeline pattern for 6 mos to 4 years. It's so sweet! PS, I am so looking forward to the upcoming Miss Lily pattern too! Just gorgeous! elizabethjex@hotmail.com
Sweet...my 19 month old wakes every morning singing "Hallelujah, Halelujah" It was part of a song from the kids Christmas program at church and she heard my son sing it so much that now she sings it ALL the time!
Funny....my 5yr old son's joke: What happens when a snake eats a penguin? He's just going to spit him out!

My husband took the kids to the pool a few weeks ago. Later he was grumbling about the girls pants being the same. Which is true, they are the same, but different size. Which I mentioned to him. "Yea, Melissa said hers have a 6 in them so I looked and they both have a 6, one just has a little 'x' beside it." To me it was funny, just picturing him trying to puzzle that one out. What is obvious to a woman, not so much for a guy. :-)
If I would be so lucky to win, I would love the Miss Madeline in the larger sizes - I love that pattern!
We've been working on "I'm a man!" now.
I hope you are have a delightfully relaxing time away.
I would adore the Madeline dress pattern for little girls.

Oh and something funny....my son is in kindergarten and when I picked him up from school on inaugeration day, he said, "We have a new President momma, That Bomb Man." Even though we have corrected him, that is what he insists on calling him.

My 8 year old son is always making up jokes to tell the family. Here is one of the better ones:
What do you call a lizard that uses the bathroom alot?.... a "commode"-o-dragon :)
Madeline in the larger size (I have the others!)
Thanks!

Abby's favorite joke right now is this: What do you call the horse next door? The Naaayyyybor.
Her last favorite: What do you call a chubby jackolantern? A plumpkin.
Enjoy your time away! :) Angie
I've been following your blog for several months and have even purchased the Madeleine pattern last fall. I'd love to win your Molly pattern in a size 6, but I'm terrible at remembering jokes. I was thinking about my pastor, who can't miss sneaking a joke or funny story into every sermon. Speaking of church, a funny thing happened when my nephews, Daniel age 8 and Adam age 6, moved to a new town and started attending a new church. Daniel was really shy, and after the collection was taken up, he began to stress out about taking communion in front of this big congregation of strangers. He kept changing his mind from taking communion or not taking communion, until finally Adam chirped up, "Daniel, you have to take communion - you done paid for it."
Hope you are having a wonderful trip! I have a good story for you. My daughter got a barbie car for her birthday last year (she was turning 4). My son,6, went up and got her a barbie from her room to put in the car. She was missing her top and he commented on what big muscles she had on her chest. You can guess where he was pointing. :)
I'd love a Miss Molly. How is that new pattern coming? I can't wait to test it!!! So exciting.
Have a good trip!
Jenny
My 3yr old asked the other day about those things on her legs...you know the Duck Hills...oh you mean Goose Bumps!
Love the Smokey's...we went there on our honeymoon!

Joseph," I don't want to be buried in the ground"
Dad,"It's only your outerbody that is buried, your spirit fly's up to be with God in Heaven"
Joseph,"But how do you know when you are going to die?, does God come down from heaven and whisper in you ear to run out in front of a car?
Just laughing now.
We have obviously said "get off the road, the cars will run you over." way too many times.
Oh, I'd love miss madeline in the small pattern.
As for the patterns, that's difficult! I LOVE the new Lily(that's my youngest daughter's name) pattern and the Madeline is my next fave! :) You do great work!
I did add a flounce on the bottom but left off the sleeves and the empire waistband. I need to send pictures to you since I can't figure out how to load them into Flickr! duh!
And yeah - whatever happened to Miss Lilly? I was going to test that for you over Thanksgiving weekend!! yikes!
Ok - you wanted a funny and I just got off the phone with my 'baby' - when she was about 6 we were driving in the car and she was telling us how at her new school she told them we were Jewish. Her older brother and sister about jumped out of their skins JEWISH?!?!! We're not Jewish we're Catholic! She replied with yeah, but we love Jesus and he was Jewish, so we must be Jewish!
Hmmm - the logic of a 6yo! Who is now a software developer! LOL!!
Ok - if I 'win' give my pattern to the next person down - I already have them *ALL*!!! Lucky me!!
from Sparkle!
What did the boy octopus say to the girl octopus?
I want to hold you hand, hand, hand, hand, hand, hand, hand, hand. LOL!!!

According to a news report, a certain private school in Victoria,
BC recently was faced with a unique problem.
A number of grade 12 girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.
Every night, the maintenance man would remove them and the next day, the girls would put them back.
Finally the principal decided that something had to be done.
She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night.
To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required.
He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.
Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.
I love the Miss Madeline dress and have been contemplating getting it so I can make one for my niece. :)
