Houston Quilt Market

Yep, I have been sewing away on dresses that will be samples at the Houston Quilt Market. I made four dresses all from Moda fabrics that are on their way to my distributor (Creative Smocking) now. Woo hoo! It feels good to have those done!I will be posting pictures for the next three days of the dresses. Here is the first, a Miss Molly, size 3, (View B) with the ruffle bottom. I made it a size bigger for Madeline because her size 2's are quickly getting too short for her. I know... it's pretty sad. Where did my baby go?

Gorgeous dress.

I read your comment on Amanda's blog- about loosing your baby. On September 11 I lost my baby - I was 20 weeks pregnant and due to complications, she was born and died a short time later. Her name is Alice. I am sure you understand how it feels to experience such a tragic loss. Take care, Rach

I love the dress Sam, you are so talented. I'm sorry to hear about your loss and I will be praying for you and yours.

Love, Les
