Triple Bunk Bed Plans

Here's your hook up we promised. :) You can all thank Ben for this! He typed up and illustrated plans for both versions of the triple bunk beds! Writing "patterns" and such isn't really his thing, but he did it for you guys. He's such a good boy. :)
If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We would love to see your take on it! xo, Sam

Edited to add: With the increased interest in these plans there is no way that I can email them to everyone. I'm sorry! But you are more than welcome to follow the link and download them for free through our shop. When you give your name and email address a download link will automatically be emailed to you.

Edited to add: We now know the meaning of viral! Ha! That's exactly what happened to the triple bunk bed plans. When the idea came to give them away for free our thought was that a few other big families out there may like the idea and we would be able to help them out. Over the last few months being able to share the triple bunks for free has brought us many new big-family friends and that has been very exciting! We never dreamed that the idea would be this popular! Unfortunately, it has also brought a lot of spam, negative attention, and more email than we can keep up with. We recently decided that the best way to deal with this problem would be to charge a fee for the plans, a price low enough that everyone would be able to afford them, but enough to deter the spam problems. We felt almost guilty for making the decision, but with a family of five children to raise and a home based business to run something just had to be done. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, and we hope you still love us. :) Because apparently we are very offensive to some folks. ;) You can now find the plans using THIS LINK.

These are exactly what I've been looking for for my three boys that share one room. Surprisingly I didn't stumble on this on Pinterest but rather just a random Google search!

We were going to go with a different plan, but I think we're sold on these ones here and are going to build these next week! Thank you so much for generously making up the plans for them and making them available! So excited!

Thanks so much for the plans! Very excited to make these for our three boys in one room. One question - are the plans for standard twin beds or for the smaller bunk mattresses?

THANK YOU! This is exactly what we were looking for. Triple bunk that fits in our small space but doesn't feel crowded.

I found your plans by googling "Triple Bunk Plans" and I was super impressed with your plans. I was able to purchase all the lumber for $88.00 and my sons and I put it together. My boys are 16, 14, & 13. I was just a little concerned about my older boy fitting on the top bunk but he just loves it! I am sharing your plan with some other people I know who have multiple kids! Thank you very much for sharing with us!

Cathy, couldn't you just paint them the color you choose? Or stain and varnish them a wood color?

Just downloaded your plans. I am really excited to get started on building the bunks. My girls are super excited too. What type of wood did you use? I am thinking of oak, but I think douglas fir would be cheaper. Any thoughts?

The Handmade Dress Infomercial: Do you suffer from scrached DVD's?

Do your children cry when they can't watch their favorite movie because of irritating scratches? Are you sick of paying good money for movies that are scratched minutes after you take them from the case? Do you often wish that we could just go back to VHS because you could leave them out in the rain, bring them in and use them for a coaster, and then let the baby throw it for fun and it would STILL WORK!? ME TOO ! . We have struggled for years with scratched movies that were no longer watchable, but not anymore! We have finally found the secret formula to rid you of this nasty little problem forever! . Crest Kids Toothpaste! YES, that's what I said! Kids toothpaste! . A few months back I heard some place that toothpaste would take of scratches and I tried it and it didn't work, then the other day out of pure desperation I tried it my way. IT WORKED! So I decided this kind of news could not be kept secret, I have to tell the world! So I

New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We

A Wee Newborn Fairy Bonnet Pattern
