Hey guys! I have no idea where the last few days have gone! Our friends, Brandon and Katie, left on Tuesday morning and I pretty much spent the whole rest of the day (and the next) sleep walking because I was so tired from our big weekend! We had so much fun. We were all sore from laughing, tired from being up late and visiting everyone, and happy to be together...it was just a great weekend.
Last night we started sorting through and pricing things for the yard sale this weekend and BOY do we have a lot of stuff! Don't forget if you live in our area that the yard sale will be this weekend, indoors, in McCalla, AL. If you want to stop by and need directions you can call me today at (205) 527-3560. We have such a long day ahead of us but I know it's going to be fun! You can't get a group this crazy together and not have a blast- no matter what you're doing! I hope we have a good turn-out because so many people are working hard to make this a success.
My Dad built a maze inside of this huge box for kids to crawl in while the mamas shop at the yard sale, he calls it "The A- Maze-ing Box".The only way to describe it is to say that it's kinda like crawling through a cave with all sorts of twists and turns. I have some pretty good video of us rescuing a 6" 3' man who wanted to give it a try! Dad had to take the whole side of the box off! After that he put in a trap door for the adults that couldn't resist playing. I went through it a few times and it was a lot of fun. Thankfully I didn't get stuck, but I'm only 5" 6' so it was much easier for me! I'm trying to upload the video now but it's about time to head out so I might have to add it later...I know all of the kids will like it though! I'll see what I can do. I'll be back after the yard sale to let you all know how it went! By the way, if I do get this video up, it will definitely need to be filed under the "Confessions of a Hillbilly" category!
