It's time for Faq's.

It's about time I put up a page for our Frequently Asked Questions. I know that I spend a lot of time answering the same questions, I'm sure that a lot of people probably wonder but don't have the time to ask, so it's time to bite the bullet and write it all out! This doesn't mean that I don't want people to email me with questions! Not at all! I just want to make it easier for you to find out what you want to know quickly because I know that, like me, most of you have little ones and you don't have loads of spare time. So now I need to ask you a few questions! What do you want to know? Is there something that you have always wondered about us? Is there anything that I haven't covered here that you just want to know, or something that we have covered but you would like to know more about? As soon as you start asking I will start filling that page up! Thanks friends! If you have a question that probably won't be asked much I will answer it in the comments section today, it's a lazy day here on the farm (still no baby goats) and all I plan to do is watch movies, stay warm, and answer questions!

There was an heirloom sewing book you suggested I think around Easter last year and now I can't find the comment. What book would you suggest?

Stephanie,

That would be the French Handsewing by Machine book by Martha Pullen. You can find it here http://www.amazon.com/French-Hand-Sewing-Machine-Second/dp/9999840329/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267899357&sr=8-1

I'm wondering if your Miss Mary dress would work for a 12 yr old that is already starting to develop? It's the perfect style for her age in every other way.

Loving Nana,

I honestly don't know, not being able to try one on someone, but I can ask around! I know a few of my testers tested in the larger sizes so I will shoot them all an email today and ask. As soon as I hear from them I will let you know here! Thanks for the great question, I'm interested in finding the answer to this one myself!

Thanks Sam. 12 yr olds shouldn't be allowed to develop but it happens :)

Loving Nana,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you! LOL! My days have been spent down at the barn! This one baby goat has created a lot of extra work! LOL! But we don't mind, she is so sweet and cute...

I got mixed reviews on the Miss Mary. Some said that with their girls it did fine and sat nicely but may have needed a cami, and some said that it needed a dart. I tell you what though, if you want to try it you I will give you the pattern, then you could let me know how it goes so that I will be better at answering this question in the future. Let me know!

The Handmade Dress Infomercial: Do you suffer from scrached DVD's?

Do your children cry when they can't watch their favorite movie because of irritating scratches? Are you sick of paying good money for movies that are scratched minutes after you take them from the case? Do you often wish that we could just go back to VHS because you could leave them out in the rain, bring them in and use them for a coaster, and then let the baby throw it for fun and it would STILL WORK!? ME TOO ! . We have struggled for years with scratched movies that were no longer watchable, but not anymore! We have finally found the secret formula to rid you of this nasty little problem forever! . Crest Kids Toothpaste! YES, that's what I said! Kids toothpaste! . A few months back I heard some place that toothpaste would take of scratches and I tried it and it didn't work, then the other day out of pure desperation I tried it my way. IT WORKED! So I decided this kind of news could not be kept secret, I have to tell the world! So I

New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We
