Miss Mary:: View A

Isn't she lovely?!
Oh, I'm so happy with her!

Little Miss Mary is a quick and easy sew too! I think I've said this before, but I really mean it this time, I think she's my favorite!

Just you wait until you see View B....I think our older maidens will really like it. Miss Mary will have a size range of 6 mo-4 and 5-12 yrs. Let me know what you think! It's now or never, give us some feedback, I promise I always listen!

I love this! It is so simple, yet so feminine...a classic look with a bit of a twist. I love the bow and the fact that it would be so easy to adjust the skirt to several different lengths. My girls always love your patterns, but this one is really up their alley as far as style goes. Great job! Now, if I can just get my sewing machine fixed before you get this pattern out so I can be ready to make a bunch of them for my 3 girls! :)

Hi! I just found your website while looking for heirloom dress patterns. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Miss Mary! Very classic and can be dressy or casual, based upon the fabric. I have three girls; 4, 7 and 10 and this style will accomodate all three. Any idea when this will be out?

I love that neckline - this is perfect for my oldest, much more "grown up" than most of my patterns. I bet it would look great in a knit fabric too!

It's adorable, I want one for me ;)

I love it and want to sew it for my 6yo. Can't wait to see a version for older girls, as my 9yo has grown out of every dress she owns (we need to go shopping before Sunday!).

I love it! You said March? Please let it be before March 19th. It would be one very sweet bday dress for my little Miss. No pressure or anything. ;)

I really like this one! Just looking at it makes me want to start picking out fabric!

Very cute and retro-ish. Love it. If you want another tester, let me know.

I love a cross-over top. It's a simple detail, but it really sets Miss Mary apart from most other patterns.

I could picture this personalized with either an apron or pockets without it looking too busy.

That is just adorable! My friend Jenn (JLI) told me about you and it seems we have a lot in common - so I'm glad to be looking at your blog! I hope that you're having a wonderful day!

I absolutely love it. And I love it would be in sizes for both of my daughters. :-)

I LOVE it!!! I have a petite little girl that is almost 8 (wears a size 6), and I have another baby girl due at any time. Good excuse for me to buy both size ranges! My two little boys (ages 2 and 5) get to dress alike every once in awhile. My daughter has long wished for a sister that she could wear matching clothes with. I like the idea of an older version and little sis version. Can't wait to see the other "view."

I would love to try it for my miss mary. She is 1. IS it liable to fall off the shoulders though?

I got to have this pattern for my girls!!!! Could you use cotton knit for this? That's all one of mine will wear. I do love this pattern!

Oh my goodness!
I have been looking for a perfect cross over dress for a long time. There have been several I have thought *might* work. But, this is perfect! I love the sleeve. The neckline is beautiful. I love where the tie is and the gathering is just adorable.

I will be here bright and early to buy it the day you release it ;)

.... and I'd love to be considered for a tester as well. I have a 6 month old, a 3 yr old and a 9 yr old.

I absolutely LOVE it! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! It may very well bump Miss Lily from the top of my favorites list. Do you need testers?? :D Please!

I love it!!!! Wow, you've got to quick or I'll be broke.

On the negative side, I don't like the size range-my dd's wear a 4 and 6, respectively which means I'd have to purchase 2 for the matchy.

Can't wait to see view B.

I love it, a darling little wrap around! I have a wrap around pattern that goes either way, front or back, which is fun.

It is adorable!! I love that the size range goes up so high too! My only concern would be if the neckline cut too low, but it is a darling dress!

Beautiful! What I love most is that it is modest! I went dress shopping for DD(6) and did not buy any dresses because they were too grown up looking. She is 6 and I want her to dress that way. Not like a 6 year old Miley Cyrus!

*GASP!* It's precious!

It looks great Sam! Are you going to be including various options for the sleeves? I have a similar pattern that has those sleeves as well, and I get customers complaining about the cap sleeve not fitting well-so I'm hoping you're going to include an option for maybe set in sleeves???? When you're ready for testers let me know, you know I'm game!

I really like this for my 8 year old. I like that the sleeves are part of the bodice (no separate sleeves to sew in!) And I love it in your red fabric, my favorite color!

The Handmade Dress Infomercial: Do you suffer from scrached DVD's?

Do your children cry when they can't watch their favorite movie because of irritating scratches? Are you sick of paying good money for movies that are scratched minutes after you take them from the case? Do you often wish that we could just go back to VHS because you could leave them out in the rain, bring them in and use them for a coaster, and then let the baby throw it for fun and it would STILL WORK!? ME TOO ! . We have struggled for years with scratched movies that were no longer watchable, but not anymore! We have finally found the secret formula to rid you of this nasty little problem forever! . Crest Kids Toothpaste! YES, that's what I said! Kids toothpaste! . A few months back I heard some place that toothpaste would take of scratches and I tried it and it didn't work, then the other day out of pure desperation I tried it my way. IT WORKED! So I decided this kind of news could not be kept secret, I have to tell the world! So I

New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We

A Wee Newborn Fairy Bonnet Pattern
