Ahhhhh....

That was the feeling we all had as our social worker walked out of our house today! Not that she is scary or anything, but it's just knowing that our homestudy is FINALLY DONE!!!!!! Oh my goodness! This is our first big hurdle and we have done it! This is so huge! Oh my heart, I can't even explain how bad I want to squeeze our little Bulgarian babies right now!!! I keep dreaming of the day that I get to walk into an orphanage on the other side of the world and kiss, for the first time, my sweet children that God handpicked for us.....I try to imagine how it's going to feel for us to be together after all of this time. How will it feel for ALL of my children to be in one room and to not feel like someone is missing? Oh I can't wait!!! I just wish I could call out "Mama's coming!" and they would hear it and know that we are working hard to get to them.

Oh friends, could you pray with us? You are like our family here. Could you pray that everything keeps going smoothly for us and that our sweet children are being taken care of while they wait? Thank you friends!

xoxo,
Samantha

My friend Kim is experiencing the same thing right now! She and her husband just finished their home study this week too! It's their first time adopting and it's been exciting (along with about 472 other emotions) to read about the journey!

If you want to check out her story, you can find her at http://kbhawkins00.blogspot.com

You've got our prayers!

How exciting!

WOOHOO!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!
You can't see me but I am jumping up and down with joy for you guys!! I remember the amazing feeling of finally having our homestudy done so that we could actually start waiting for our referral.
I have not stopped praying for you since you first told me you were adopting. I can't wait to hear that you know who your new children are, and are winging your way to collect them.
I will continue to pray for your family to be prepared for them, and for them to be prepared for you, so that you will be woven together in a beautiful tapestry of family.

I thank the Lord that you and your family found in your heart so much love as to share all you have with children so far away from you. It is very touching for me reading your amazing journey, a testimony that there is God. God bless you all

I am surely praying. He has hand picked them. He is protecting them. And, they can "hear" you say, "Mama's coming". I know to many I sound crazy, but this is a heart thing, and our Lord works with hearts.
He has it (what ever and when ever it is) all planned out perfectly.

The Handmade Dress Infomercial: Do you suffer from scrached DVD's?

Do your children cry when they can't watch their favorite movie because of irritating scratches? Are you sick of paying good money for movies that are scratched minutes after you take them from the case? Do you often wish that we could just go back to VHS because you could leave them out in the rain, bring them in and use them for a coaster, and then let the baby throw it for fun and it would STILL WORK!? ME TOO ! . We have struggled for years with scratched movies that were no longer watchable, but not anymore! We have finally found the secret formula to rid you of this nasty little problem forever! . Crest Kids Toothpaste! YES, that's what I said! Kids toothpaste! . A few months back I heard some place that toothpaste would take of scratches and I tried it and it didn't work, then the other day out of pure desperation I tried it my way. IT WORKED! So I decided this kind of news could not be kept secret, I have to tell the world! So I

New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We
