Tonight I'm gunna party like it's 2009!


Oh yeah, tonight is the annual Christmas tree burning party! We are getting the chili ready, taking down the decorations, and cleaning up!


Speaking of parties, I wanted to share the pictures from my girls parties before Tim's party gets here. Maddie turned 4 on December 8th and we had a princess fairy party.


I've always had Molly and Maddie's parties together because their birthdays are only a week apart, but this year they each got their own day and they both had a blast
.

I made Maddie this little fairy costume for her party, and Aunt Rae decorated the giant cupcake.


Molly wanted a flower party so I made her this little flower tree, but no costume.....no, apparently 8 year olds don't wear flower costumes. Bummer.

This is the cutest picture of Molly and her Uncle Adam! Look at those little best friends! Rae made Molly a giant cupcake too. Isn't she awesome? She used to work in a bakery, she rocks.

Before I go I want to thank you all for making this blog such a fun place to be! You make it so much fun! Thanks for all of the encouragement, prayers, friendship, and love you have given my family in this last year. I wish you all a happy and healthy 2010!

in class last night we started a lasso class, just in time too.
i'm getting Tim his own rope for next Wed., he's so excited about lassoing.

Happy New Year, Samantha! What lovelies your little girls are. I understand about the flower costume! 8 seems to be a major turning point for my little Abby, too...all grown up. You are so creative and for one day I'd like to be a fly on your wall to see all of the beauty of your home. Be blessed!

Happy New Year, Samantha! I loved reading about the birthday celebrations and the new animals. Your children are so fortunate to live in a rural area where they can be so close to nature. They are blessed to have you make such marvelous memories for them (you do it every day!). Lucky children! Luckier mommy! God bless you! 2010 will be a grand year!

You should come visit us one day! Your probably only 30 minutes away. Come have lunch with us sometime, the kids can help Molly and Tim feed the animals, they would have a blast!

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! The Family Closet

It's another gray day so the pictures aren't great, but I wanted to get these posted since I have a few minutes. The family closet has changed my life people!! It has taken my most overwhelming chore from crazy to totally doable. We had to start in the laundry room because that is were most of this process starts. These storage racks went on sale for 69$ right after Christmas and we got 3. We also got several of the $3.50 Steralite clothes baskets because they fit side by side perfectly. In the laundry room I now have baskets labeled (Whites, Towels, Darks, Reds & Purples -we have a lot of those!) to separate clothes into, baskets marked "Clean" for clean clothes, a place for storage (extra dish cloths, table cloths, socks that need a mate). The laundry room is much less intimidating now, I actually like going in there! I also now have room for my drying rack in here! I painted a huge henna design on the wall to pretty it up a bit. :) The Caffee sign ...
