a big FAT secret

Yep, for almost a month now I have been sitting on a big ole secret, but not anymore! I started P90X almost four weeks ago and I feel great! Ben and I are doing the workouts together 6 days a week and they are each almost one hour. Yeah, I know that's a long time, but it works. When I started I couldn't do ANY real push ups. At all. I had to do the cheater girly ones where you have your knees on the floor and push up from there, but now I can do 20 military style push ups and not even feel like dying! LOL! I am starting to see a difference in my clothes too and a few people have even commented on the difference that they can see. YAY! It feels really good. I started working out regularly back in November but I never really pushed myself to the point of getting stronger, I was more focused on just getting in 30 minutes of cardio a day. This is totally different, now I am pushing myself to do things I have NEVER been able to do...and I can actually do it! I decided back in November that I couldn't complain about my body not working properly if I wasn't feeding it and exercising like I should, so made the choice to take care of what God gave me! Y'all, I feel like a new person. I have so much more energy. **Warning** I am about to try to motivate you to do the same if you aren't already....If you have been putting off getting in shape (like I did for a while) get off your bum and start! You won't feel ANY better until you work a little! We need to be good stewards of what God gave us! Complaining about it isn't gunna help (believe me I tried that for a month and I just felt worse) you have to commit to getting off your rear six days a week for at least a month. If you don't feel better after a month of good workouts you can quit and go back to the complaining. LOL! Who's with me??

Not sure what p90x is, but I am pretty sure it does not involve me eating the bag of chips I am devouring while nursing my head where Ahnalin just smacked me with her cast. I am proud of you Sam and I know I need to do something, anything, more than I am doing by way of exercise. So, you MAY be motivating me.

Yep - Hubby and I have been out walking in the evenings and it does feel great. We have a treadmill ready to go for the winter months ahead, our goal is to get outside as much as possible and use the treadmill only if we absolutely have too. We decided that outside is way more exciting and engaging than the treadmill will be.

The Handmade Dress Infomercial: Do you suffer from scrached DVD's?

Do your children cry when they can't watch their favorite movie because of irritating scratches? Are you sick of paying good money for movies that are scratched minutes after you take them from the case? Do you often wish that we could just go back to VHS because you could leave them out in the rain, bring them in and use them for a coaster, and then let the baby throw it for fun and it would STILL WORK!? ME TOO ! . We have struggled for years with scratched movies that were no longer watchable, but not anymore! We have finally found the secret formula to rid you of this nasty little problem forever! . Crest Kids Toothpaste! YES, that's what I said! Kids toothpaste! . A few months back I heard some place that toothpaste would take of scratches and I tried it and it didn't work, then the other day out of pure desperation I tried it my way. IT WORKED! So I decided this kind of news could not be kept secret, I have to tell the world! So I

New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We
