Do you see what I see?

I am always seeing these little pictures in our wood floors and tile and sometimes I wonder if other people can see them too. I have asked Ben before if he can see them but he usually looks at me like I've grown another head. I KNOW I'm not the only one! Tell me I'm not crazy! Who else does this?
It's actually a lot of fun, kind of like finding pictures in the clouds - I was so good at that when I was a kid. So when I saw this little funny today I thought to take a picture of it and draw in the lines that I could see so everyone else could see. So... Can you see it? I love how it looks like they are on the beach and you can see the horizon. LOL! I may have to delete this post later so people don't think I've gone completely mad. LOL! O.K.....Little Miss Crazy Pants is going to take a nap now... .
Edited to add: I'm so glad I don't sound like a total loon! I have so many more of these around my house, maybe I will share those too!

Samantha, it's so nice to know that i am not alone in this strange, yet interesting fascination for looking at "things" differently. I have been known to stare at the floor for extended periods of time looking for faces, and such. The funny thing is I mange to find all kinds of interesting things in something as random as wood grain, ceiling patterns, different types of floors, etc. So, nope you are not alone!!!

I don't do it often but when I'm really tired or sick I see all sorts of things in the sponge painted wall in our bathroom. Does that count?

lol! your not alone Samantha, you are not alone(sigh)I have forever had this "gift" and you probably won't believe me but I saw in my head what this picture was going to be before I saw it(weird huh?)
You tell your husband that you did not "grow another head" but are just simply blessed(I've been told that before)

Glad I let that out....
Melinda Gates(maybe your twin,lol)

P.S. I'm also glad I'm not insane.

I TOTALLY understand, I see things like that all the time. The random marble-y looking wallpaper in our last house had all sorts of faces and creatures in it.

I have done this since I was a little girl. At my parents house they did a textured sealing that had a "seal" in it. I showed it to everyone but only some could see it. A few years back they were repainting and stuff and wanted to retexture, but I pleaded with them to keep it. Thankfully they did. There is a few funny ones in my bathroom at home, I love the idea of taking a picture and drawing in just what you see.

Ha ha ha! You are too funny. Thanks for giving me a good chuckle. Yes, I saw it after I went back and looked at the first picture again. I love looking for pictures like that in stuff, too. I think it helps to keep us young! Have a great weekend!

Oh my gosh, when I was a kid I could see the door leading out to our garage from my bedroom. As I lay there (supposedly sleeping) I would stare at that "wood" door and see all sorts of crazy things...one time I swear I saw Yogi Bear! No, you are definitely not alone *grin*

That's so funny! I used to play this game with my cousin when I was little. She had the US on her ceiling. My mom has a duck on her wood floors! I think it's good for your imagination!

I totally understand. I had a bedroom door that had reoccuring monster faces due to a repeating knot hole pattern, a school door that had the face of a goblin from a painting of Dante's Inferno, and my hardwood floors upstairs have all sizes of eyes.

I used to lay on my back for hours as a little girl staring at the woodgrain in the ceiling. I think it's something us creative people tend to do lol

The Handmade Dress Infomercial: Do you suffer from scrached DVD's?

Do your children cry when they can't watch their favorite movie because of irritating scratches? Are you sick of paying good money for movies that are scratched minutes after you take them from the case? Do you often wish that we could just go back to VHS because you could leave them out in the rain, bring them in and use them for a coaster, and then let the baby throw it for fun and it would STILL WORK!? ME TOO ! . We have struggled for years with scratched movies that were no longer watchable, but not anymore! We have finally found the secret formula to rid you of this nasty little problem forever! . Crest Kids Toothpaste! YES, that's what I said! Kids toothpaste! . A few months back I heard some place that toothpaste would take of scratches and I tried it and it didn't work, then the other day out of pure desperation I tried it my way. IT WORKED! So I decided this kind of news could not be kept secret, I have to tell the world! So I

New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We
