I've missed you so....

I am so behind on blog reading and blogging (and laundry). When I feel overwhelmed and behind I start to ignore the things that make me feel that way. I know, vicious cycle. I think it is that glimmer (OK maybe a little more than just a glimmer) of perfectionist in me, you know, if you can't do something right don't do it at all...yeah. So, I decided this morning to just start fresh from today and just move my big "behind" (Yes, I have the humor of a 10 year old boy) forward. I have missed all of your blogs so bad! Let me just confess now and get it over with...I lost your address....please forgive me. My computer started acting super nutty and hubby had to wipe it out and in the process all of my favorites were lost! I know, I know, I should have one of those blog reader deals but I'm a blog dummy and I don't! So if I have ever stopped by your blog PLEEEAAASE leave your addy in the comments section of this post. I don't always have the time to comment but I promise I ALWAYS visit everyone that comments here on my blog. I thought about going through all of my old posts but I was afraid I would be stuck at the computer for an entire day, and my lil man has been running a fever for the last couple of days so that is out of the question.
.
So what have I been doing since I haven't been posting? Kidney infection, Summer cold, and yes still morning sickness (which I am completely thankful for... most of the time... LOL!). I am ready to get back into the swing of things around here, so I am going to try to post something (even if it's just a picture with a small caption) everyday this week.
.
My kids have been sooo funny lately so I have a couple of cute stories to tell. I still have some great beach pictures to share too.
.
Oh and did I mention that I will be on Soulemama in a few days? Yep, I will be there (in her sponsor section) for a month with a little ad for my shop. I'm pretty excited! You all already know what a nerd I am so I will go ahead and tell ya this too, Miss Madeline was on Craftsanity!!! I listen to Jennifer's podcast all the time so I was checking it out about a week ago and I scrolled down to find a picture of Miss Madeline! How cool is that?? I felt like I had been on Martha Stewart!! LOL! OK, no more bragging, I promise. I'm done.
.
Sorry I don't have any pictures to share this time, I still haven't got my pictures back on my computer since the big wipe out. I did have this little ad and I thought it was better than nothing. You know I hate to post with no pictures, it just feel boring.
.
Oh I can't wait for all of my links to be back so I can surf again! Hurry! I think I will post them all in the next post so if this ever happens again I will have them online, and everyone else can visit you too! Good idea... Could you leave the official name of your blog too so that I can link it that way? Thanks friends!
.
xoxox,
Samantha

Samantha, this is your ol' childhood friend, from WAAAYYY back in the day! I LOVE reading your blog. You are just the way that I remember you, hilarious!! Anywho, I would love to be added to your friends, so my address is http://www.thebonhamfamilyblog.blogspot.com

I don't do much blogging, but I check all the time to see if you have written. I have gone back to almost the beginning of your blog reading it! I love all the pictures and the little videos. I was showing my Mom the one of your youngest daughter "getting in to her bed", and we died laughing. We both think, from reading, that you are a wonderful Mom!! Take care and keep in touch! PS- Do you remember that song that we used to sing, "Here we sit like birds in the wilderness"? I carried on the tradition and taught that to my family. Everytime, we sing it I think about your family!!

I miss you, Sam! And I have to tell you we get so many compliments on our Miss Madeline every time Miss L wears it. Oh, and she wore a Miss Molly for the first day of school. I love that dress!

Hey, if you add me to your blogroll, you'll always be able to find me. LOL! xoxo

I am sitting here looking at a basket of folded, clean laundry that needs to be put away and another load that is clean but not folded...and what am I doing? Yep, reading blogs! Hmmm. Glad you are back among us again. Hope Tim is feeling better soon. Our blog address is www.stilwellschimbote.blogspot.com Take care!

The dress is just lovely - I know a couple (or 3) little girls who would look just great in it. Great blog.

Howdy Samantha!

I'm so glad you're back...it's always a sunny spot to come visit, no matter what you have going on...good, bad, ugly (well, Ihaven't see anything ugly :o)...it's your heart and sincerity and joy that make it sunny! You have been missed!

So happy to see that your pattern will be available to a wider audience...I hope this brings you lots of new readers (and buyers!!). You're simply a peach and I am so glad you so willingly share the sweetness of family life with all of us! (I'll Fly Away, being sung by one's kids...yeah, that's priceless). The Secret Garden sounds divine and will no doubt be one of your kids favorite touchstones from their youth - Godspeed in creating a beautiful sanctuary there...it seems as if your kids are already seeing it as just that!

Oh yeah, I'm Just Bee 'n Me at http://justbeenme.blogspot.com

Hugs and Blessings,

The Handmade Dress Infomercial: Do you suffer from scrached DVD's?

Do your children cry when they can't watch their favorite movie because of irritating scratches? Are you sick of paying good money for movies that are scratched minutes after you take them from the case? Do you often wish that we could just go back to VHS because you could leave them out in the rain, bring them in and use them for a coaster, and then let the baby throw it for fun and it would STILL WORK!? ME TOO ! . We have struggled for years with scratched movies that were no longer watchable, but not anymore! We have finally found the secret formula to rid you of this nasty little problem forever! . Crest Kids Toothpaste! YES, that's what I said! Kids toothpaste! . A few months back I heard some place that toothpaste would take of scratches and I tried it and it didn't work, then the other day out of pure desperation I tried it my way. IT WORKED! So I decided this kind of news could not be kept secret, I have to tell the world! So I

New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We

A Wee Newborn Fairy Bonnet Pattern

I wanted to make something to go with the cardigan I made for my coming niece, so I decided on a wee fairy bonnet.
