I got a new camera!! Thank you Jesus!

These are som pics I took for my crochet edgings book. Tell me what you think! ......Her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. Proverbs 31: 18 & 19 I know you are sick of seeing this dress, but I love this pic!

I want this one to be the cover background, but I can't figure out how to do that in microsoft word! Any advise would be great!

This is one of the edging patterns in the book.

For those of you who haven't heard, I am writing a little book. "Samantha's Crochet Edgings", an instructional guide on how to crochet edgings to fabric, including seven edging patterns. All the instructions for preparing fabric for crochet are in this book. I hope to have it ready soon, I had no idea that this book could take this long! I honestly thought I would type it up one night after the kids were asleep and be done with it! LOL! I mean seriously it's only like 13 pages! But then I decided to add a few pics, then I thought a frame would be nice, then there was the front cover THAT had to be perfect, then well if Im gunna put this much time in it I may as well.............. So, now you see what Im saying. I am one of those NUTS that once I start something like this, I get obsessive, QUICK! I feel like a big dork calling this a book (do people say dork anymore?) maybe e-book? Then I sound like a nerd ( I think they still say that one) Ok shu-up people! I hear "do do head " not doo doo but dodo,"crazy face", and "poo poo head" all day every day! Gimme a break! Well I gotta go get some breakfast on the table before the "poopoo heads" and the "he pooted" start! hehe!

Oh before I go, I wanted to tell ya'll that my dad has been reading my blog. He told me that mine is the best, na na nu boo boo! (ok now Im obsessed with the baby talk!) This is a pic of my pretty daddy, and me pregnant with somebody, maybe Timothy, anyhow we were at the Toby Kieth concert. Dad always takes Rae and me to concerts, this tradition started when I was about 17. I would spike dads hair, dress him up in baggy britches (yes, I just said britches, shu-up), and take him to bounce around in the front at christian rock concerts. I did not drag him! He loved it as much as we did! I had the cool dad, na na nu boo boo. Ok last time I promise!

I *think* that you can do the back cover using a watermark. I don't remember what menu they hide it under (insert? page setup?), but if you do a custom watermark, you can use a photo. I have Office 2007 on my computer, so I can't look up the actual menus on older versions of office.

I've never enjoyed crocheting but seeing your dresses makes me want to do it. Bt now your book really makes me want to try it! I hearted your book and want to buy it when I sell a few more things and if I don't use it myself I know it will go to my MIL. She puts edgings on flannel receivingblankets, burpies and pillowcases oh and towels. You are really awesome to write a book. What a great example to your kids to have an idea and do it!

The Handmade Dress Infomercial: Do you suffer from scrached DVD's?

Do your children cry when they can't watch their favorite movie because of irritating scratches? Are you sick of paying good money for movies that are scratched minutes after you take them from the case? Do you often wish that we could just go back to VHS because you could leave them out in the rain, bring them in and use them for a coaster, and then let the baby throw it for fun and it would STILL WORK!? ME TOO ! . We have struggled for years with scratched movies that were no longer watchable, but not anymore! We have finally found the secret formula to rid you of this nasty little problem forever! . Crest Kids Toothpaste! YES, that's what I said! Kids toothpaste! . A few months back I heard some place that toothpaste would take of scratches and I tried it and it didn't work, then the other day out of pure desperation I tried it my way. IT WORKED! So I decided this kind of news could not be kept secret, I have to tell the world! So I

New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We
