My Sis His Bro

This has all happened so quick that I have not even "blogged" about it. My lil sis (22) is having her first baby (she is married to my husbands lil brother) and she went for her mid pregnancy sonogram. She had NO intentions of finding out what the sex of the baby was. Then THERE WERE TWO!!! OK so this was a big deal! Her husband immediately said "tell us what they are"! TWO LIL IDENTICAL GIRLS!!! So needless to say we are all shocked! They totally missed the fact that there were TWO KIDS in the first two sonograms. So WOW there you go. I have alot of sewing to do! They are due in November but are not expected to go past 32-34 wks. She has the rarest form of twins, they share the same sac and there is no membrane separating them. There is a high risk of the babies becoming entangled, but we are praying for the best and so far we have no reason to doubt that she will do just fine! Did I mention the fact that I am planning a baby tea for 110 people in 3 wks. Yeah. So Im gunna be a little busy. She goes in for observation in three wks, and will stay till the babies are born. She is gunna take her sewing machine with her and catch up on some sewing (burp cloths, blankets,ect..) I am working on the dresses and booties. Rae and Jake

Wow, twins! Best of luck to them...I could never handle 2 at the same time. I bet you're super excited! :)
Oh, congratulations!! How sweet that a) you're having twin girls in the family, & b) your little sister is marrying your husband's little brother. You could just slot into my husband's family as his father's younger brother married his mother's younger sister!! She was also a twin, we have twin girls & there are 2 more sets of twins, both fraternal & idential in the McClellands. AMAZING!! Oh, good luck!! I had big healthy fraternal twin girls second time around, so we had girl, twin girls, then a boy. Love it!! BTW, your sister is beautiful!! They'll have beautiful babies & cousins for your trio. Love Posie

What an amazing surprise! I'll keep them in my thoughts as she continues her pregnancy. (And you are quite the brave soul to host a tea for 110!)

Hello there, I like your blog so much and I feel like knowing you since childhood and we are not in the same country, we don't speak the same language but still...
SO congats about your sister!!
(In my religion (christian orthodox) 2 brothers are not allowed to married 2 sisters unless the wedding takes place the same day-same hour. Funny isn't it??)

The Handmade Dress Infomercial: Do you suffer from scrached DVD's?

Do your children cry when they can't watch their favorite movie because of irritating scratches? Are you sick of paying good money for movies that are scratched minutes after you take them from the case? Do you often wish that we could just go back to VHS because you could leave them out in the rain, bring them in and use them for a coaster, and then let the baby throw it for fun and it would STILL WORK!? ME TOO ! . We have struggled for years with scratched movies that were no longer watchable, but not anymore! We have finally found the secret formula to rid you of this nasty little problem forever! . Crest Kids Toothpaste! YES, that's what I said! Kids toothpaste! . A few months back I heard some place that toothpaste would take of scratches and I tried it and it didn't work, then the other day out of pure desperation I tried it my way. IT WORKED! So I decided this kind of news could not be kept secret, I have to tell the world! So I

New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We
