Woo Hoo!

The tummy bug has passed, and my tooth (which got a temporary yesterday) is feeling MUCH better this morning! I'm gunna catch up on this load of email (we're talkin over 100) I have here and we will be back to regular programing by tomorrow! Thank God for a wonderful dentist and a good night's sleep! I haven't felt good since Friday so my excitement level is just ridiculous right now (hence the slight overuse of exclamation marks), but it just feels so good to feel good again!
Look for a tutorial on ruffle piping sometime this week. Now that should excite you!

I'm so glad you're feeling better-- nothing worse than a toothache and a tummy bug, you poor thing. I'm looking forward to the ruffle piping tutorial!

yay for feeling better and another yay for the ruffle piping tute!! i'm gearing up to make another miss molly, but a dress this time (instead of the shorter top i made earlier!), and the ruffle piping is just too adorable not to include!!

Shop Reopen!

Two things, my Etsy shop is now open for the summer with lots of bohemian goodness, and that gorgeous girl pictured above is my little Molly. New triple bunks.

Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :)  This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo.
