First off, Maddie is feeling MUCH better!!!!!! Thank you soooo much for all of the prayers! In a long urine culture some bacteria grew out, we got her the right antibiotic and she has perked up! The weird thing is that none of her symptoms pointed to a UTI, but we think it was just a smoldering infection that was keeping her down the whole time. I pray this holds out!
Oh my, we have been working nonstop getting ready for our trip. With only a few days left we are down to the wire getting our new home live-able! There is still so much to be done but we are thinking that we just might make it happen. We have beds, a shower and bathroom, Ben put in the sink and countertop today, the fridge is in, the plumbing is mostly done, and the axle has been replaced. There is still the mattresses to cut and put in, cabinets to build, the front bed needs to be secured, we need to hang curtain rods and curtains, finish up the bathroom plumbing (for the shower) polyurethane all of the wood, make the awning, window frames put in, it needs to be cleaned, packed up, and a few other loose ends tied up. I still have a load of things to do in the house too! Pack, buy groceries, clean the house, do all of the laundry....oh! Any tips for packing a family of 7 for a 5 week trip? I'm wondering where I should even begin! This is going to be a dream come true for us and we are almost there with a healthy girl!!! I can't wait to show you all pictures of Mrs. Agnes (that's the airstream's name) when she's finished! She won't get all polished up for this trip because we've just ran out of time, but soon, very soon. :) xo, Sam

ps- don't forget- there will always be a wal-mart somewhere if you forget something! Don't stress!
On another note, share please, what did you gut out and what did you keep in and why? We have a 26 ft. 5th wheel that sleeps 6, which was fine when we had a baby co-sleeping, but I'm pregnant and we will soon be 8, so a low budget redo may be in our future. :) I'm curious to know what you've found you can live without and what you feel you really need.
