Today was a big day in the Caffee family. Today was the day we dedicated our little miracles (my nieces), Lily and Iris. Can you believe how big they are getting? I'm sorry I don't have a better picture but with the fluorescent lights and having to work from the first row, this was the best I could do. I am still amazed at what God has given us in these little angels.
Ben designed new bunk beds for the "girl's dorm" and "boy's dorm" in our house. We LOVE them!! We are almost done with all of the work, just a few loose ends left to tie up, but I couldn't wait to show off his handy-work. This is the girl set. We stained them with colored stain and we really like how that turned out. It's almost the color of cranberries. I still need to paint the boards that are attached to the wall. I'm going to paint them the color of the wall so that it looks like the beds are floating. :) This is the boy set while still under construction. We ordered new bunk mattresses, but they haven't come in yet. I will show you guys pictures when they are completely finished. We stained these green, it looks like the color of bamboo. The kids LOVE these beds! And oh the space we have now! I'll be back soon with finished pictures! xo, Sam If any of you make beds using these plans could you send us a picture? We ...

I received my book on Sat! Love it! Thank you so much. I want to make a blanket with edging I think. Since I don't crochet, I'll need to take my time, but I think I can do it.
Love the bonnets. I go to Lancaster PA a lot, and your girls do look like the little Amish girls, so sweet! I've made several very similiar bonnets. I have sold mine for $25 to $30, when I make them to match a Christening gown, and I think that is really not enough, but people don't realize how much goes into it, as I'm sure you know. XO
Oh and I'd love to be a tester too.. I'm an experienced crocheter
The pictures are gorgeous. The twins are little angels and so are your girls. The coats and bonnets are so sweet. I remember wanting something like that so badly when I was young. Somehow I don't think it would work as well on me now, unless I move to Amish country. I would think you could charge about $40 for them, though I don't know how much you paid in materials and then consider your own labour.
The scarf is beautiful. I love the colour. So far I've crocheted one of two patterns for the slippers. I'm a horrible finisher though, so it may take a week or so before I get the buttons sewn on and I can post photos.
Have a good day.
